"I got to experience a day with Towner Studios. I will start off by saying, It was a MUST DO kind of experience. It was a little different than what I had originally thought, but not in a bad way whatsoever. You start off by going in, talking with the girls, picking out what your plans are for the day and what your goals are to how you want the pictures to look, and it is magical from there. There are a lot of options for as simple or as glam as you are wanting. I have taken pictures in the past and they usually have an idea of what they want your pictures to look like, but with Towner, they ask for what your goals are, so it makes for the best possible outcome. If you want the dramatic eye look, you've got it, if you want a simply sweet look, you've got it.
What does a boudoir experience look like with Towner Studios?
When you book a shoot with us, you are booking a half day luxury experience! We have you come in at 9:00am or 1:00pm to get started on hair and makeup. After hair and makeup we help you select your wardrobe pieces and shoot for 60-90 minutes. After we finish your shoot, we will wrap up for the day, and then we will see you at your image reveal appointment!
Why do women book a boudoir session?
Every woman has a different reason. Some are celebrating a milestone, getting married, marking a birthday, healing after a difficult season, or creating a meaningful gift for their partner. Others simply want to reconnect with themselves and see themselves through a kinder lens.
Is everything private?
Yes. Your images are 100% private unless you give us written permission to share them. Many of the photos you see on our website and social media are from clients who wanted to inspire other women, but that choice is always yours.
What should I wear?
We'll help you every step of the way. You'll receive a preparation guide before your session, and you'll have access to our curated client closet with hundreds of pieces ranging from XS to 6X. You're also welcome to bring your own outfits if you'd like.
How can we tailor the session to fit my comfort level and body confidence?
We'll chat with you during hair and makeup about your comfort levels, and we keep open communication throughout the entirety of your session to make sure you're feeling enthusiastically confident! Remember- this day is all about you and we are more than happy to accommodate your comfort levels however we can!
What if my partner doesn't want me to do this?
Many clients initially wonder the same thing. While boudoir can make an incredible gift, we believe the experience should ultimately be something you want. The confidence and memories last far longer than the photographs themselves.
Is boudoir worth it?
Our clients almost always tell us they wish they had done it sooner. The photos are beautiful, but the way you feel when you leave the studio is what people remember most.
